Plush has the most inviting relaxed atmosphere I’ve ever seen in a tattoo shop. Amber and Toni are just the coolest most chill people. I have had my nails tattooed by Amber (with a tarot reading to pick the design) as well as a Reiki session and both services were just phenomenal. Amber has a casual but professional approach to intuitive arts that make even the most beginners feel comfortable. Toni tattooed my fingers and his precision and expertise shows in his work. He really is someone who appreciates the art of tattoos and approaches it with intentionality and professionalism. The shop is also in such a great neighborhood. It’s always fun to walk around and do some shopping before or after coming to Plush. They are transparent about pricing and always willing to work with your budget. There is a ton of options for pretty much any budget here. There’s also a cool stamp card program that, once filled, gets you another discount! Overall, Plush is just amazing in every way. I’d highly recommend stopping by!

I came into Plush very nervous for my first ever tattoo, and left having had the BEST experience! I’ve got a lot of anxiety when it comes to needles, and I was really worried about how painful it would be—but Amber was so reassuring and open that the session was a breeze! Amber was: -open to any and all questions I had (and I had quite a bit!) -so kind and accommodating when I suggested different ideas during the making of my stencil, and very clearly well versed in responsible fine-line (making sure that when the tattoo ages it will still look great!) -gently walked me through the first bit of needle-work (which was not nearly as bad as I thought) and checked in to make sure I was doing well throughout the process -was very willing to go over any line touch-ups or small requests I had for my tattoo during the process -was just the warmest presence! Really, I had such a comfortable session, and the actual tattooing flew by (what hour and a half?). Both Amber and Toni were such wonderful people, and clearly care very deeply about their craft and the people they work on. Their studio really felt like a cozy, warm place where getting a tattoo isn’t scary at all—and if you decide to come get any service at Plush Tattoo, you are in the best hands.

Toni and Amber were absolute gems to work with! I booked last minute - a spur of the moment 40th birthday decision. I saw a tiktok of their “get what you get” tarot tattoo and knew I needed it. They called pretty immediately after I filled out the inquiry form and made space for me the very next day at 11a. From the moment I arrived, the vibes were golden and the energy flowed easy. Amber’s reading, charm casting, and reiki were on point and the tattoo options were really hard to choose from. The tattoo itself was an almost painless process and the linework is delicate and expertly executed. I will be back yearly for new insights and ink, journalling my cronehood through Plush’s gorgeous creative perspective.

From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. Toni did my tattoo and I am so happy with how it turned out. The work is beautiful, thoughtful, and exactly what I was hoping for. But what really made this experience special was the energy of the shop. Toni and Amber are genuinely lovely humans. Warm, welcoming, kind, and completely unpretentious. They create a space that feels safe and accepting in a way that is hard to put into words. You feel it immediately. You are not just another appointment on the schedule. You are treated like a person. I also opted in for a tarot reading while I was there, which they offer if you are interested. It was such a fun and meaningful addition to the experience and perfectly reflects the creative, open spirit of the shop. If you are looking for talented artists who also create an environment that feels like home, this is your place.

One of the best tattoo experiences!! Amber and Toni were so welcoming and kind. I admire how much care they put into their studio such as being proactive/researching to use only vegan-friendly products. I’m so happy with how my tattoo rework came out. Toni was very attentive to detail, wanted to made my tattoo looked good and that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I’m so glad I booked with Plush Tattoo! They were so responsive and flexible enough to accommodate my limited schedule. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in Portland and you should too! 😊🫰🏽
